Warriors vs Thunder Prediction Warriors vs Thunder Prediction

As the Golden State Warriors enter this game having one of the hottest rosters in the league with their depth, they play another top Western Conference squad named Oklahoma City. With this Warriors squad having taken a tough loss against San Antonio last time out, their opponents in the Thunder won by 10 their last time out against Portland. This game will take place on November 28th at 8:30 A.M. IST in Golden 1 Center. Below are our key betting tips, top player props, vital injuries, and head-to-head trends to create a prediction for the matchup.

Warriors vs Thunder Betting Tips & Predictions

1. Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder Moneyline Pick

Seeing that the Warriors have a -129 moneyline, it should be taken as they are the stronger two-way team by a little bit. With Stephen Curry and Buddy Hield leading their backcourt, they will outscore Alex Caurso plus Shai Gilegous-Alexander with some ease. Knowing that Andrew Wiggins will have more overall stats than Luguentz Dort and Draymond Green should be a physical presence against Jalen Williams, the Warriors will dominate this rebounding battle. With Kevon Looney and Trayce Jackson-Davis inside, these two should handle Isaish Hartenstien, making the -129 moneyline a great pick and strong for their 2nd win in a row vs OKC.

2. Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder Point Spread Pick

As the spread is at -1.5 for Golden State, they will have a slight edge in this game due to their advantage of having more scorers. Led by guard Stephen Curry who continues to be one of the greatest three-point shooters, his passing ability has been very strong this season as well. Going up against Shai Gilegous-Alexander, he should have a slight defensive advantage that helps him this battle. Although SGA is a great scorer, Curry has been one of the best stealers this year and continues creating traps on many elite guards. With Alex Caruso at shooting guard for OKC, many people will think he will continue locking down Buddy Hield in this game. But, that is not true since Hield plays at such a different level off screens and passes that Caruso has been a little weak at guarding. With Hield not working from dribbles, he can outscore someone like Caruso whose been very on/off on the offensive end. A great battle will involve Andrew Wiggins and Luguentz Dort at small forward as both of them provide size-plus elite defense and rebounding. One massive advantage for Wiggins though is that he’s a much better all-around scorer and should still have a pretty high amount regardless of how hard Dort defends. With a key defender like Draymond Green at power forward, he will keep it very close against a two-way star in Jalen Williams, while Kevon Looney and Trayce Jackson-Davis should out-rebound plus out-score Isiash Harentstien. Looking at this, the -1.5 spread looks perfect for Golden State.

3. Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder Over/Under Pick (Total Points)

With the over/under being at 227.5 points in this game, both squads have elite units that will score at ease. As this Warriors unit is led by one of the best shooting point guards of all time, they have an elite deep creator that is very efficient for this group. Having a small forward that can score from outside or inside, their centers have been great at putting back shots. With their 6th man being a very solid power forward, they play an OKC unit that has one of the top all-around scorers at point guard. Having two wings who are very solid three-point shooters, this unit also has a couple of quick scorers on their bench. Looking at this, it will be a little under their 243 combined points from last time, but somewhat similar.

Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder Top Player Props

Kevon Looney over 8 rebounds at 1.60: Seeing that this Warriors center continues being a superstar board collector, he should continue ripping away a lot of key missed shots for extra chances. As he provides more size than a specialist in Isaish Hartenstien who has to play the whole game, Looney will use energy and length to out-number him in rebounds. With Looney averaging 7.9 rebounds a game, he should go over his season average in this game.

Shai Gilegous-Alexander under 30.5 points at 1.80: Although the Oklahoma City guard has been playing at an all-star level this season, there have been a few matchups against great defenders he has struggled. Going up against a stealing machine in Steph Curry, his ability to connect easy shots may end up being taken away due to the Warriors' guard's greatness in creating traps. As he is someone who averages 28.7 points a night, Shai will be somewhere around there having a high chance of hitting the under.

Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder Injury News & Impact

Golden State Warriors Injuries: As De’Anthony Melton, 10.3 points, remains this squad’s only loss due to a Torn ACL, Golden State should still run with the same rotation as Buddy Hield takes the reigns.

Oklahoma City Thunder Injuries: With Chet Holmgren, 16.4 points plus 8.7 rebounds, missing his last game due to a right iliac hip fracture, they also lost a key depth piece in Ousmane Dieng due to a right finger fracture.

Warriors vs Thunder Head-to-Head Trends

Although Oklahoma City won three straight games before this last matchup against Golden State, this matchup has always had alternate winners. With both squads being very elite, they have scored over 100 points each in 9 straight games while most games have ended in a differential of within 7 points. With each unit's record being 3-3 against the spread over the last 6 matchups, it could go either way once again to see who can improve upon it.

Warriors vs Thunder Match Prediction

As the Golden State Warriors enter this game having been one of the strongest and deepest units in NBA play, they take on a OKC roster that’s currently dealing with injuries. Knowing that they have Stephen Curry starting at point guard once again, his ability to pass and create from deep will be a key factor throughout. With him continuing to be a great piece that can provide all-around the basket and be a leader, his matchup against SGA should be a slight victory. Although Shai Gilegous-Alexander is a top player in his own right who will provide great inside or outside offense for this Thunder unit, Curry’s ability to create steals and traps will help the Warriors have an edge at crunch time. With Alex Caruso being the Thunder’s shooting guard, most people would expect him to lock down Buddy Hield, but this isn’t true. As Hield continues being a great three-point shooter of screens and passes, he has a unique opportunity to dominate a defender who usually only seems to struggle in this type of offensive game.

As Andrew Wiggins and Luguentz Dort will be a great matchup, this will have a lot of blocks plus steals between each other. With both of them fighting for a rebounding advantage as well due to them having similar size, the one major difference is that Wiggins has been a way more productive scorer. Someone who can also score from inside, his ability to create could cause Dort a few lapses leading to Wiggins outplaying him. With this group having a very tough and aggressive Draymond Green at power forward against Jalen Willams, he will keep this matchup very tight with his all-around play so Golden State’s centers can win the game. As the Warriors have Trayce Jackson-Davis and Kevon Looney underneath, they should completely handle Isiash Hartenstien. With Golden State having Bradin Podziemski and Johnathon Kuminga off the bench, Oklahoma City will have a chance to win if Cason Wallace plus Isaish Joe match them.

Our prediction: Golden State Warriors win and cover their -1.5 spread, while the score goes over 227.5 points
