Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors Match Preview
With the Clippers starting their season against a Pheonix Suns squad that was stacked, they played very well for what this Los Angeles roster had. Without Kawhi Leonard, they were able to keep Devin Booker off rhythm and force a lot of turnovers like Derrick Jones Jr. and Norman Powell can force. Seeing the progression of James Harden, 29 points and 8 assists during heir first matchup, his rebounding ability is something to look out for as well. Showing great leadership, he has helped Norman Powell, 17 points with 4 rebounds, become a much better three-point shooter than what he orginally was after Los Angeles traded for him. With Derrick Jones Jr., 12 points and 4 rebounds, showing great two-way ability at his size, it helps Ivica Zubac, 21 points and 9 rebounds, turn into their top rim-protector. If Kevin Porter Jr. has a sixth-man of the year level performance this season, this Clippers team can be sneaky.
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have created a strong system around Stephen Curry make it nearly hard to guard one guy. Seeing how Curry leads this unit down the floor, 20 points with 4 assists, helps create great chances for everyone else. Helping Buddy Hield, 27 points against Utah, be a key three-point shooter like he was in the 41-point win, their duo can be something special when in the same rotations. Brandin Podziemski, 15 points, really started developing into that 2nd option after Curry really attracted a lot of attention in their game against Utah. Even though Andrew Wiggins only scored 10 points, his 13 boards really helped the Warriors turn misses into finishes. Having a combo of him, Kevon Looney, and Trayce-Jackson Davis, 12 points with 9 rebounds, has helped them kick outside to other pieces such as Moses Moody on the outside. After scoring 12 points during this game, his combo with De’Anthony Melton helps the Warriors become a true championship contender.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors Betting Tips
Total Match Points Over 237.5 - With both squads possessing great long distance scoring and offense that help their forwards get involved, a lot of scoring will occur in this game. As their last matchup ended with 235 points, this game should end up somewhere around there again.
Total Points in the First Half Over 119.5 - As the Clippers were above-average at 12th in first-half scoring last year, they play a very similar 1st half squad named the Golden State Warriors. As both teams combined for 111 points last time time, they really developed into two groups that had emphasis on consistency in scoring during first 2 quarters.
Warriors Score Over 117 Points During Whole Game- With the Golden State Warriors scoring a lot of points and keep growing into one of the best all-around units, their offense will attack a Clippers defense without Kawhi Leonard. During their last 4 matchups, Golden State has scored over 110 points each time.
Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors Match Prediction
As the Los Angeles Clippers are without their star Kawhi Leonard once again and lost Paul George, their group will have to face one of the hardest three-pointing shooting units to defend. Given that the Warriors lost 3 of 4 to the Clippers, this is a year they wish to fix that after all their struggles from 2023-24. With Stephen Curry leading at the point, his scoring ability will be something that James Harden can’t stop. His tools allow the former 4-time champion to pull up from anywhere and he is a great passer as well. Someone who brings a lot of double-teams, shooting guard Bradin Podziemski will have a field day from deep. With the presence of Draymond Green in the paint as a strong do-it all factor without scoring, he can stop Ivica Zubac in the middle at easy. With Derrick Jones Jr. having to be forced onto Johnaton Kuminga and moving up front to get Andrew Wiggins, it will help one on one matchups against inconsistent defender Terrance Mann. But, if the Clippers can stay solid on defense and hit their mid-range game, this scoreline will be much closer.
Our Prediction- Golden State Warriors to Win
