For the Dallas Mavericks , Luka Doncic, 33.9 points with 9.2 rebounds and 9.8 assists, will once again lead the point guard as he was a top-two guard last season. His ability to make crazy shots and play at his size creates a very scary duo with elite ball-handler Kyrie Irving. Irving, with 22.7 points and 5.7 assists, took away a lot of criticism from many analysts who called him a massive trade loss last season. 

With Klay Thompson, 38.9% from deep range, adding a huge three-point shooter to a team that was lacking one in last year’s NBA Finals, he can help put them over the top. As P.J. Washington, 1.2 steals, has been a key to this team defensively, he and Daniel Gafford, 1.9 blocks last year, have changed this from just an offensive squad. Seeing the growth of center Derek Lively II on the bench as a scorer and adding solid scorer Spencer Dinwiddie to the rosters gives this team a lot of depth.

Meanwhile, the Spurs are awaiting Victor Wembanyaba’s, 21.4 points and 10.6 rebounds, growth into a superstar to make this squad contenders.
