Suns vs Knicks Prediction Suns vs Knicks Prediction

With this New York Knicks group finally showing great ability as their various pieces have started showing elite chemistry, they play a depleted Phoenix Suns roster that has recently been struggling. As the Knicks come from a 28-point victory against the Wizards, Phoenix just dropped their 4th game in a row by losing to Orlando. The game between these two squads will occur on November 21st at 8:30 A.M. IST in Footprint Center. Underneath are our key betting tips, player props, head-to-head matchups, and public trends for this game.

Suns vs Knicks Key Betting Tips & Predictions

1. Phoenix Suns vs New York Knicks Moneyline Pick

As the Knicks are a -129 moneyline favorite in this game, this squad should easily win this due to their stardom all over the court. Seeing that Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges create an elite backcourt, they should easily outscore the likes of Tyus Jones plus Devin Booker. As Karl Anthony-Towns will continue being a beast against someone Miles Plumlee, the Suns will have a disadvantage at power forward too with Ryan Dunn having to go up against the all-around O.G. Annunoby. Seeing that Josh Hart has more physicality at small forward than Royce O’Neale, the Knicks -129 moneyline should be a great pick for them to win their 3 in 4 matchups vs Phoenix.

2. Phoenix Suns vs New York Knicks Point Spread Pick

With the New York Knicks having a -1.5 spread in this game, they should be taken as the winners of it due to having way more skill all-around. Led by Jalen Brunson at point guard, his ability to continue dribbling and creating for others or driving him has shown great leadership on this squad. Seeing his skill, it will be tough for even an elite defender like Tyus Jones to stop although he will provide assists and scoring at a little lower level. As Devin Booker continues to be a great scorer for the Suns, he will have to go up against one of the best complete players in NBA play. With his contest being Mikal Bridges, Booker should still continue his perimeter shooting prowess but it will be at a lesser value than the passes and assists Bridges provides. These two squads have two fantastic rebounder in Josh Hart and Royce O’Neale, but the one key is how the Knicks Hart has shown a lot more consistency. As someone who can keep creating off the dribble to finish near the lane, his offensive game will completely outshine that off O’Neale’s. Knowing that, the power forward postion is another one New York’s O.G. Annunoby should control Ryan Dunn in. Seeing that Annunoby can shoot and create a lot of turnovers over a mid-range shooter like Dunn, the young Suns power forward won’t be able to return the favor on the other end either. With Karl Anthony-Towns in the middle as one of the best stretch fives that can shoot and also grab a huge volume of boards, he should have massive advantage over the small Miles Plumlee. All in all, the Knicks -1.5 spread should be taken in this game.

3. Phoenix Suns vs New York Knicks Over/Under Pick (Total Points)

As the over/under in this game is at 230.5 points, both teams have various different options to help this total be very high. Seeing that the Suns are led by a very solid two-way point guard, they have one of the best shooters at shooting guard. Although their small forward has struggled with scoring, this group will rely on the finishing ability of both their power forward and center. Having one of the best three-point shooters of the bench, they will play a Knicks squad that has an elite backourt. Along with the all-around prowess from their point guard and shooting guard, this group really gets tons of three plus dunks off with their two wings. Seeing that they have an excellent perimeter shooter at center who can also put in a lot of put-backs, this score should be somewhere a little under their 261 combined points with some more injuries.

Phoenix Suns vs New York Knicks Top Player Props

Karl Anthony-Towns over 25.5 points at 2.00: As the superstar scoring five continues showing his prowess from inside and outside this season, he should have another big night points-wise. Going up against a small Miles Plumlee, Towns should continue finishing inside while winning the rebounding battle to create put-backs. Being an excellent outsider shooter as well who can create from perimeter areas, Towns should be able to hit well above his 26.2 points per game average.

Devin Booker over 22.5 points at 1.80: Being one of the best outside scorers in the game this season, Devin Booker continues knocking down threes and long-range jump shots with ease. As he will face Mikal Bridges, his scoring production may be a little less than normal due to the Knicks shooting guard’s length, but this Suns star should still create great looks at a very high level. Someone who is averaging 23.5 points, should have a very strong night on the offensive end once again and build his season average even higher.

Phoenix Suns vs New York Knicks Injury News & Impact

New York Knicks Injuries: As Precious Achiwua, 7.6 points plus 6.6 rebounds, and Mitchell Robinson, 8.5 rebounds last year, remain out for this squad, they will once again have to expect Karl-Anthony Towns to carry an expanded role with inexperienced Jericho Sims behind him. Having Miles McBride, 10.7 points and 2.5 assists, potentially being out due to an illness, Jalen Brunson may have to play a lot more minutes in this matchup.

Phoenix Suns Injuries: Having Kevin Durant, 27.6 points, still ruled out due to his calf strain, this group will have to rely on the much less efficient Ryan Dunn, 6.9 points a night, to start at power forward. With Bradley Beal, 17.8 points, still sidelined due to his calf issue as well, they don’t get the same two-way ability with rebounding specialist Royce O’Neale starting. In addition, Jusuf Nurkic, 9.8 rebounds, being out due to an ankle issue, they will have to start a less physical center in Mason Plumlee who provides a lower volume of boards.

Suns vs Knicks Head-to-Head Trends

Although Phoenix used to once own this matchup by winning 9-straight games against New York, things have changed with the Knicks coming out on top twice in 3 previous matchups. Looking at this Suns squad being on a cold streak, New York should continue improving their record against Phoenix and look to score over 100 points for a 4th straight matchup. With this Knicks squad being 3-2 against the spread vs Suns, they should continue developing an advantage in victories as this New York unit looks far better at the moment.

Betting Insights & Public Trends

As the current public trends show, the New York Knicks have been selected by 66.7% of bettors to beat this Suns squad.

Suns vs Knicks Final Prediction

Although the New York Knicks had a struggle to start this season, they should continue their recent hot streak against a very injured roster. Seeing that the group has continued building together and finally playing to their full potential, this Knicks squad’s starting to get very tough to guard. Led by point guard Jalen Brunson, he is known for his ability to not give up and really use great passing plus scoring abilities to dominate. Although he once wasn’t a great defender, his development on that end has really helped this group allow opposing guards to not be that much of factors. As Brunson gets to go up on a similar sized Tyus Jones, this is one game where the quickness and great ball-handling will make it hard for him to cover the great Knicks guard. Although Jones should have another solid game passing and scoring-wise, Brunson’s ability to score at various levels from different angles will make the differential much more than people would expect. As the matchup between star scorer Devin Booker and all-around player Mikal Bridges will be a great one, the Suns guard should continue showing great prowess as a scorer. Seeing that Booker can shoot from almost anywhere on the court and also create an inside positioning for scoring, Bridges will be able to win the rebounding battle in this matchup due to size. Also, Bridges has proven to be a terrific passer and whenever forced into a trap by Booker’s defense, he can create a lot more chances for others. Knowing this, his variety off different skills will outplay Booker’s ability as a pure shooter.

With Josh Hart playing at small forward, his greatness as one of the most aggressive rebounders should be a positive over Royce O’Neale. Although the Suns forward O’Neale has been one of the strongest pieces to get a multitude of boards, Hart’s ability to have more energy and strength will help him easily win this battle. As Josh Hart is also a great inside finisher, he will be able to outscore O’Neale who has seemed to score with putting up layups this season. The Knicks have a great advantage at power forward too with the ability of O.G. Annunoby to play his two-way game against Ryan Dunn. Seeing that this young star has continued to knock down elite jump shots and finish in the lane’s, having a great length over Dunn should create a lot of blocks plus steals during this matchup. Having a center like Karl Anthony-Towns as a much better offensive player and bigger rebounder than Mason Plumlee, the only way Phoenix can win this game is through the play of Grayson Allen and Oso Ighadoro off the bench.

Our prediction: New York Knicks win and cover their -1.5 spread, while the score goes over 230.5 points.
