According to the insider reports from Reddit, he is treated as the new GOD and old gods like Neymar and Messi don't get equal treatment.  He gets massive amounts of money to stay in the club and though he has promised in multiple interviews to join Real Madrid he did not and that's why people treat him as an arrogant player and not a humble player. 

Perez was the bidder of Real Madrid and was constantly trying to sign him for 3 years. He was desperate to get him onboard since when Critinao left Real Madrid. According to Perez, only Mbappe could fill this void and no one else. 

Filled with frustration Perez signed Eden Hazard from Chelsea and it was a disastrous move since the player faced continuous injury for the past two years.  Again Perez tried to convince him to join the club. 

During an interview with NYC on 21st May 2022, Mbappe shocked the nation by saying that he would continue his reign at PSG till 2025 which made him the most expensive football player in the world making his net worth $300 million at PSG.
