Full-Time Reactions:
Joshua Zirkzee was delighted to get off the mark.
“It’s been a dream to come here; I feel warm in Manchester! Scoring on my debut here feels incredible."
It couldn't be better to win here in my first home game and grab a goal. I've been told [scoring at the Stretford End] is one of the best feelings at Man Utd. I'm so thankful and blessed I could experience it in my first game. It's a fantastic feeling. We got the win; that's all we wanted. I can't explain the feeling, but it's really lovely.
Erik Ten Hag had kind words for his player on his debut -
"He has some attributes we didn't have; straight away, he showed that. He is perfect in his linking up and combinations, and we have some good ball-playing offensive players who can benefit from this. But I wanted to say that he has to arrive in the box. He has to arrive in the box and score goals. He did, and the winner is very pleasing for everyone."
